Golden Globes 2020

Starting the new year was the 77th Annual Golden Globes Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California.

Originally, I was going to show ‘My Top 10 Best Looks’ from the awards night but I couldn’t cut it down to just 10…So here are ‘My Top 14 Looks…’

14. Reese Witherspoon wearing a Roland Mouret gown. I thought this was a fresh approach to Hollywood glamour.
13. Margot Robbie wearing Chanel. She is one of my favourite actors so anything she wears I will love!
12. Ansel Elgort wearing Tom Ford finishing the look off with glittery eyeshadow and ice blue nail varnish. The subtle make up look works, he definitely pulled this off.
11. Scarlett Johansson wearing Vera Wang. You can never go wrong with this classic red carpet look. Stunning.
10. Billy Porter strutted down the carpet wearing Alex Vinash. Love the trail!
9. Taylor Swift wearing Etro. Not normally a fan of Taylor’s fashion but this bold dress stood out for me.
8. Helen Mirren wearing Dior Haute Couture. She looks beautiful and classy in this red gown.
7. Jennifer Lopez wearing Maison Valentino. This hairstyle just reminds me so much of when she was in Maid in Manhattan. If you know, you know.
6. Beyonce and Jay Z – Turned up fashionably late.
5. Thomasin Mckenzie wearing Valentino. This dress is perfect for her as it compliments her eyes and skin tone so well.
4. Zoey Deutch wearing Fendi. A very on trend look with big embellished sleeves and blue Harry Winston jewels. An elegant, sleek, structured look.
3. Jodie Comer wearing Mary Katrantzou. I’m obsessed with supersized sleeves and this emerald structured silk gown shows this look off perfectly. She paired with a chic yellow Jimmy Choo clutch and pink jewelled shoes.
2. Joey King wearing Iris Van Herpen. Gorgeous optical illusion dress. People say she was a ‘Walking piece of art’.

My Favourite Look of the Night:

1. Zoë Kravitz wearing Saint Laurent. Minimal make up with short, pixie crop hair in sleek straight style and a red lip to match red carpet. This was my favourite look of the night because she looked so effortlessly chic.
