Hit & Misses: Grammys 2020

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles, on the 26th January.

My favourite look HAS to be Ariana Grande wearing Giambattista Valli. She looked like a real life princess standing out from the rest and I am sure everyone would agree she was definitely the best dressed of the night. I think the elbow length gloves were the perfect finishing accessory with her classic high ponytail.

Looks I loved…

Common looking fine as always in a Dolce & Gabbana maroon suit.
Blast from the past Jojo, who won her first ever Grammy, looking stunning in a shimmery strapless Rhea Costa gown. A ruched waistline with a high split showing off crystal jewels across the thigh which match her shoes perfectly.
The Jonas Brothers wearing Ermenegildo Zegna. They all came with their partners but their look just works together as brothers. I wasn’t a fan of Nick and Joe’s partners looks and definitely thought they out shone them. Loved the bronze tones.
The golden couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen proving why they are my favourite celeb couple. Chrissy was a vision in orange wearing Yanina with exaggerated shoulder details and peplum. Showing off her great legs with a risqué thigh high split. John complementing Chrissy perfectly wearing an asymmetrical suit by Alexander McQueen.
Bebe Rexha went for a chic black jumpsuit, with a chainmail top half by Christian Cowan. A sleek look finished off with a black suit jacket which is very on trend at the moment.

Ella Mai wearing a structured, ruffled Giorgio Armani gown. Not one of my favourites of the night as I don’t think this style dress suited her figure.
Sophie Turner wearing Louis Vuitton. Her make up looks stunning as always but the outfit is very out dated.
Priyanka Chopra wearing a Ralph and Russo blushed gown. Her recent style choices have not been great including this unflattering look with a very low plunging neckline. Her hubby definitely outshone her on this occasion.
Dua Lipa looking very uncomfortable on the red carpet wearing Alexander Wang. Maybe a bag to hold may have helped this plain outfit look more exciting and look a little less awkward. The hair and make up were very nineties but she just didn’t pull this off.
Going to have to give Lewis Capaldi a miss unfortunately. Love this guy but would like him to try a bit harder at least once!
